Driving Operational Excellence and O&M Contract Performance for US Utility

We supported a US-based utility in improving operational performance and contract governance across its wind assets through the deployment of a specialized IT platform and a structured operational excellence framework.

Our role included the implementation and use of a dedicated digital platform to monitor wind farm and wind turbine operational and technical performance, combined with the analysis of WTG operational data and service order records. This enabled a fact-based assessment of performance trends, recurring technical issues, and compliance with O&M contractual obligations.

We worked closely with the client through regular operational review meetings to identify, prioritize and track issues impacting health and safety, energy production and asset integrity. Our support extended to preparing the monthly meeting agenda with the OEM, ensuring that critical topics were addressed..

By combining data-driven analysis with hands-on operational engagement, the project provided the client with improved visibility over asset performance and their O&M management function, stronger control over the O&M contract, and a more proactive approach to managing technical and operational risks throughout the asset lifecycle.
